Police Point Park Nature Centre
Our Interpretive Program is managed by the Society of Grasslands Naturalists, under contract to the City of Medicine Hat Parks and Outdoor Recreation Department. The Grasslands Naturalists are a registered charity, and donations are an important part of our budget.
Hours: Open Year Round, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Tuesday – Sunday and some Holidays
The Nature Centre is home to the Interpretive Program, and always worth a visit. New exhibits are installed regularly. This is the place to come for information about South Eastern Alberta’s natural history, and stories of the people who have lived, explored, and thrived in this land. Find out about the programs, tours, and special events that are planned.
The Nature Shop has a good selection of natural and human history books, art work, children’s nature related items, and of course bird feeders and bird seed. Income from the Nature Shop support the year round programming.
Custom tours, special group programs, and birthday party packages are also available.
